After two successful breastfeeding journeys with my first two children, running into problems in the first few weeks with my son was highly unexpected. Jenn not only quickly assessed our issues with Pyloric Stenosis diagnosis at 5 weeks old, but she was a constant support through rebuilding my milk supply and getting my baby nursing well enough to exclusively breastfeed again. I can't thank her enough!"

She not only addressed those concerns and got us on a path to recovery and prevention, she spend time going over every question we could possibly think of when it comes to newborn care, schedule, sleep and much more! She was so understanding, encouraging and really listened to every worry we had before addressing them. She has a extensive amount of knowledge and experience, which was evident in the great advice she gave us. I just kept telling her, I wish I met her 6 years ago when I had my first child!"

She treats and speaks to you like a human being, not like a number and takes the time to observe and learn about your unique situation and coach you from there. She's made me feel so confident in my ability to nurse my kids and I know if it weren't for her I would've given up a long time ago. I had a lot of pain with both kids and after a single visit with her the pain improved. I went on to nurse my son for a year and now my daughter for 2.5 months so far. Thank you Jen for all your help!!"

My babygirl did a week in the NICU and I thought latching her would be nearly impossible since I was only able to pump and feed her in the NICU. However, thanks to Jennifer and her patience we got. my girl to latch comfortably and I can now say goodbye to pumping 8+ times per day and get to have my bonding time with my baby again. I can't thank Jennifer enough for everything she has done for us and a special thanks to her for taking pictures of me and my babygirl while breastfeeding because as a busy mom I barely have pictures of me and my girl, especially breastfeeding and now I get to keep these memories forever."

I cannot emphasize enough how paramount Jen has been in my breastfeeding journey! In short, my daughter and I had latching difficulty right from the start which considerably dropped my milk production after a few weeks. My girl was not getting enough nutrients- she was hungry, and we were all having a difficult time. Jen helped us get confident with a good latch. More importantly, she guided us through supplementing with bottles for adequate nutrition while prioritizing breast feeding/pumping to get my milk production where it needed to be to support my growing babe. After a few weeks of hard work (and a lot of TLC from Jen) our latch was great, my milk production was up considerably- I was easily able to exclusively breastfeed my daughter! Breastfeeding is such a special experience that I absolutely love (though it is a labor of love to start). We are now 11 months in and I am SO GRATEFUL to Jen, as I have no doubt that without her I would have had to stop breastfeeding shortly after my daughter was born. Knowing what I know now, it would have been a great loss to miss out on all the special moments breastfeeding gives Mom and baby. As a healthcare professional myself I can say with confidence that Jen is a true professional and absolute expert in her field! She is empathetic, kind, and very easy to reach with any issues. She is an excellent support system during a beautiful, difficult, and pramountly changing time in a family’s life. I have been so lucky to work with her over the last year and I highly recommend her services to anyone I meet who is pregnant or breastfeeding!

Jenn saved us. When our first little was born we struggled as he was nursing 24/7, and needed to be moving/rocking all the time. We were frustrated and sleep deprived. We can still remember the first lactation group we attended; We entered feeling defeated and left content with our baby sleeping comfortably. We yearned to go back each week and learn more. Guidance and tricks with breastfeeding and mastering sleep continued to keep us in awe. You will not be disappointed, and you will be applauded for everything you do, as it is not easy but Jenn make it feel easier and allows you to be proud of every step in the best journey of your life.
We love you,

"As a quick backstory: I received horrible support from the hospital and a lactation professional with my first, which led to me being misdiagnosed with a rare condition called IGT, believing I'd never make milk for my child, and going on to exclusively pump with a massive oversupply that caused so many physical and mental health issues for a year with my first and was extremely difficult to wean from. With my second, I was determined to nurse and went in more educated. Even with all of the education, I ran into so many issues. At two weeks, after my pediatrician told us to "just nurse and see what happens," my son had lost nearly 1 lb. A highly-recommended IBCLC in Nassau sent us to the hospital and when there was no underlying health condition, she basically didn't know what to do with us and encouraged me to switch to pumping again. I saw some other lactation professionals as well as numerous pediatric healthcare providers who kept telling me to give up, pump or give formula. When my son was one month old, I searched a local moms group and Jennifer's name came up again and again. I reached out. She came to my house the next day and before she could even say hello I was like, "You're the fourth LC I've seen" through tears. She listened compassionately and assessed my son and me. She noted the possibility of ties as well as low muscle tone making it difficult for him to efficiently transfer milk and thrive. She encouraged us to get the ties evaluated by a professional and came up with a plan to ensure my son was safe and milk supply was protected in the meantime. At 5 weeks, we got the ties released and he doubled his milk transfer. Jennifer continued to support us as we worked through issues over the next couple of weeks and my son mastered his new suck. Weighted feeds with her helped me gain confidence that my son was getting enough, and going to her office was such a breath of fresh air during those lonely 4th trimester days. By two months, I started to enjoying nursing. By three, it was the most natural thing. So many people told me to just give up but I sit here typing this with a 9 mo., exclusively nursed son nursing right now. What started as a nightmare turned into a healing journey from what happened with my first. I owe so much of that to Jennifer. She's not a run-of-the-mill LC. She knows the ins and outs of infants with complex issues and doesn't default to "your supply is bad and it's all your fault" like everyone else. She knows how to address the dyad, prioritize safe and fed baby while also helping you as a mother reach your feeding goals (with compassion for your mental health too). She's basically a unicorn and my only regret is not going to her first and avoiding all the heartache of the first couple of weeks. There aren't enough stars for her"

She asked me if I could take a leap of faith and trust her because she had a method. I did exactly what she instructed me to do and she supported me and my baby every step of the way. Her compassion and love shone through every appointment and at the end we were more than successful - we were happy mama and a satisfied baby. Jenn heard every cry and took everything I said seriously; even as a first time mom, I felt so comfortable talking to her and I always felt heard. I will forever be grateful for the work Jenn did with me and my baby."

"Jenn is amazing. I was having latching problems that several nurses at hospital couldn't help me with. Within minutes I already had less stress, anxiety, and pain!! She also talked to us about how to heal my battered breast, diaper rash, tummy time, and setting a routine for the baby. Then to make things even better she contacted me the next day to follow up and has been available to me several times since the consultation, which I didn't expect. She has answered questions and been great support/encouragement!"
