Over two decades ago, the birth of my first baby marked the start of something much bigger than I had anticipated. Not just motherhood but a lifelong dedication to lactation education and proper postpartum family support. As a postpartum and nursery nurse back then, I was taken aback by the unexpected challenges of breastfeeding, challenges that books and classes had not prepared me for. I encountered pain, frustration, and a harsh reality far from the nurturing bond I had envisioned. It was in those raw moments that my mission was born. My career goal moving forward was to ensure that families would navigate this journey with comprehensive guidance and empathy.
My commitment is stronger than ever, and I continue to assist families with every aspect of infant feeding, mother-baby care and support. Whether it is breastfeeding or bottle feeding, nurturing babies with special needs, or assisting mothers with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders get the help they need. My approach blends clinical expertise with the gentle art of creating a safe, loving, and confident transition into parenthood.
